Bleaching – for a radiant smile

A professional teeth cleaning can already help to remove surface discolouration and refresh the natural colour of your teeth. If this is not enough, we can lighten the teeth in a targeted way with professional in-office bleaching.

Every treatment begins with a thorough dental examination and consultation, because not every bleaching method is equally suitable for every patient. Together with you, we choose an individually tailored method that is as gentle as possible and suits your teeth and your personal wishes.

Because your dental health matters to us as much as aesthetics, we make sure the treatment is carried out carefully and also advise you on the right care afterwards.

Our aim: a natural, harmonious and radiant smile – one that suits you.

Frequently asked questions

All frequently asked questions
  • What is bleaching?

Bleaching is professional tooth whitening, in which the natural colour of the teeth is lightened with special whitening agents. Unwanted discolouration is reduced, so the teeth can look lighter and the smile fresher. How much lighter they become depends on their original colour and their individual structure.

  • How long does the result of professional whitening last?

Depending on individual circumstances and lifestyle, the result of professional bleaching can last from several months to a few years. Coffee, tea, red wine and smoking can encourage new discolouration. Good oral hygiene and regular dental check-ups help to keep the result for as long as possible.

  • Is bleaching harmful to the teeth?

When carried out professionally and after a prior dental examination, bleaching is generally considered safe for suitable patients. Even so, temporary tooth sensitivity or irritation of the gums can occur. That is why teeth and gums should be examined before treatment and any dental disease treated first.

  • Is bleaching treatment painful?

Most patients find professional whitening easy to tolerate. During or after treatment, however, the teeth may be temporarily sensitive or slightly uncomfortable. This usually passes. If your teeth are already sensitive, we will be happy to advise you on suitable treatment options.
